This is the best article that I’ve read about making a reluctant decision to vote for a Trump/Pence ticket. It makes my decision feel not so reluctant.

I’d much rather cast my vote for a person who’s outspoken in his negative character, who surrounds himself with people of good character, who might influence and correct him in his downfalls, than to accept defeat and contribute to the possible election of a person with such horrible character that she places personal gain above the safety and wellbeing of the American people and laws of the land. Hillary would be even more abusive of the power of the POTUS, than Obama has been. I can’t believe I’m even saying this, but I’d rather have Obama for another 4 years than to experience a Hillary Clinton presidency. With that said, I can’t imagine Trump being worse than Obama has been for this country.

This is not easy for me. I did not get to this point lightly. Rather, it has been a matter of intense examination of the candidates and party platforms, studying the Scriptures (particularly I Samuel 8-12; see below), and listening to many thoughtful voices in the debate.

Anyone who has been tracking my writing during the course of this campaign knows how deeply concerned I am about Mr. Trump — his lack of experience, flip-flopping on issues, and the unkind and at times even vulgar or vitriolic language he uses against his critics. I had hoped he would be defeated in the primaries. Or challenged by a plausible third party candidate. Or would drop out after the release of the deeply offensive video of him speaking with Billy Bush.
